VEGAN COLLAGEN ALTERNATIVE + 20 ESSENCES is an ideal solution for anyone seeking a plant-based alternative to traditional collagen. It contains 1000 mg of VOLLAGEN® – an amino acid complex with a ratio corresponding to animal collagen, but in a 100% vegan formulation. Plant amino acids are specifically designed in a similar ratio to that found in collagen. Additionally, it is enriched with 20 other active ingredients that collectively support beauty and vitality. Among these, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and cartilage. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, aids in the normal function of the immune system, and protects cells from oxidative stress.

VOLLAGEN® is a complex of plant amino acids in the exact ratio found in common animal collagen, as shown in the graph. The difference, however, is that the amino acids are already isolated, allowing the body to absorb them more efficiently. Study and its results

An independent consumer study was conducted over 60 days, during which participants (55 women aged 30-60) consumed 1000 mg of VOLLAGEN daily. The results were evaluated by the independent organization Ayton Global Research (AGR):

  • Improved hydration, firmness, and elasticity of the skin: Most participants reported a visible improvement in skin condition, which was softer, more hydrated, and firmer.
  • Even tone and radiant skin: Respondents observed a more uniform skin tone, increased radiance, and an overall healthier appearance.
  • Fewer wrinkles and reduced under-eye circles: Fine lines and wrinkles appeared less prominent, dark circles diminished, and the skin around the eyes looked fresher.
  • Fewer imperfections: A reduction in the occurrence of acne, minor blemishes, and other skin imperfections was also noted.
  • Stronger nails: Study participants observed a noticeable strengthening of their nails and improved condition.

These results confirm that VOLLAGEN® is a highly effective plant-based alternative to traditional collagen, supporting the health and beauty of the skin and other body tissues.

Vollagen® is an amino acid complex created through an innovative fermentation process. It utilizes plant-based sources, and the entire production is designed from the outset to ensure the resulting product is 100% vegan. This is followed by microencapsulation, which results in a fine powder that dissolves easily and has a very neutral taste and odor.

Frequently asked questions

Which of the collagen types I, II, III is more suitable for the skin and which for the joints?

Most people are unaware of the fact, held by many doctors, that type II collagen for joints is not necessarily better than hydrolyzed type I collagen.

Types of collagen in the body:

  • Type I collagenis most abundant in the skin. Products with hydrolyzed type I collagen (for example, from fish skin or beef hide) are therefore associated with improving the elasticity, hydration and appearance of the skin, hair and nails.
  • Type II collagenis a part of joint cartilage. Therefore, it is often stated that collagen peptides prepared from type II collagen are ideal for supporting the musculoskeletal system - e.g. in dietary supplements for athletes or people suffering from joint problems.
  • Type III collagenIt can play a complementary role in supporting tissue and vascular health, but is most often seen in combination with type I.

Although type I collagen is most associated with the skin, it is increasingly appearingevidencethathydrolyzed peptidesobtained from type I collagen are beneficial for the joint system.

Why is type I collagen just as good for joints as type II collagen?

When taking collagen in dietary supplements, collagen breaks down in the digestive tract into individual amino acids and peptides, which the body then uses according to its needs - i.e. for the production of collagen in various tissues (joints, skin, tendons, ligaments, etc.). Therefore, hydrolyzed collagen type I is often used in practice, as it is very well absorbed and can support the regeneration of connective tissues throughout the body.

Hydrolyzed type I collagen (e.g. marine collagen) is used as a building material for various tissues in the body, including joints, after absorption.

The collagens in the Neobotanics range are marine collagen peptides (type I), which are known for their good bioavailability and are suitable for overall support of connective tissues - i.e. skin, tendons, ligaments and joints.
