NEOBOTANICS® was founded on the basis of long-term scientific research into natural bioactive substances under the leadership of Associate Professor Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D., in cooperation with prominent Czech scientific institutions and leading experts in the field of medicine.
From the very beginning, we have been building on the conviction that truly valuable skin care and sophisticated dietary supplements should grow from a deep understanding of nature, precise research and high demands on the quality of each ingredient used.
BIOCEN laboratories
Research, development and production take place under strictly controlled conditions in the laboratories of our company BIOCEN laboratories and our laboratories in the Science and Technology Park Dobříš Centre for Applied Research (CAVD), set in the unique environment of the Brdy forests.
It is here that scientific precision, technological advancement and inspiration from nature, which is fundamental to the philosophy of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, are intertwined.

The founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand is a Czech scientist and biotechnologist specializing in the entire chain of research, development and utilization of natural bioactive substances.
Within the research projects he leads, new active ingredients for cosmetic use and new approaches to their formulation are developed.
He is the holder of a number of patents and awards, including the Visionary 2016 title.

We emphasize careful selection of raw materials, balanced formulations, safety of use, and respect for sustainability and environmental protection. Each product is created with the aim of offering modern care that combines a scientific approach, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality.

Combining modern science, research, and nature
We believe that the future of quality cosmetics and dietary supplements relies not only on the latest scientific knowledge but also on a sensitive connection to natural traditions.
Therefore, we return to our roots and rediscover the potential of traditional and lesser-known local herbs, plants, and other natural resources for use in dermatology, cosmetics, and nutrition.
These resources are explored through research projects led by the founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, biotechnologist and expert in natural active substances, doc. Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D. We extract valuable functional ingredients from them and verify their biological activity using modern analytical methods.
Bioactive, thoughtfully formulated ingredients
In many of our dietary supplements and cosmetic products, we use our own original and carefully prepared extracts.
Where appropriate for formulation, we work with bioactive substances in the form of liposomal or nano-micellar systems, prepared using our own NEOLIPO® and NEOMICELLE® processes.
These approaches allow us to design products with an emphasis on stability, quality, and a thoughtful use of active ingredients within the overall formulation.
Extreme origin, exceptional potential
In the development of dermo-cosmetic products, we also work with bioactive substances obtained from plants or microorganisms that naturally occur in extreme conditions.
It is precisely in such environments that these organisms create specific protective mechanisms and a natural spectrum of substances that help them cope with environmental stressors.
This unique natural origin is a valuable inspiration for us in creating products designed for modern, functional, and targeted skin care.
Double synergy
The philosophy of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, alongside scientific development inspired by natural bioactive substances, is also based on the principle of so-called double synergy.

Neobotanics CBD Skin Repair Balm gentle hemp balm 30 ml
A gentle, rich natural balm with cannabidiol, hemp, jojoba and sea buckthorn oils. Suitable for the care of dry and irritated skin.
The balm's special emulsion consistency, containing 95% nourishing oils and waxes and 5% hydrating glycerol, creates a delicate and breathable protective film on the skin.
Free of preservatives and perfumes, it is also suitable for vegans.
The balm can also be used on skin with psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Cannabidiol (CBD), isolated from the hemp plant, has effects against free radicals that are formed in the skin due to UV radiation.
Bisabolol obtained from the candeia tree is a natural active ingredient used for problematic and irritated skin due to its soothing and skin-caring effects.
Shea butter is quickly absorbed into the skin, providing excellent skin protection.
Jojoba wax, rich in vitamins E and B, is a great choice for improving the overall condition of the skin.
Guaiazulene – a natural substance isolated from blue chamomile. It has a natural blue color, which in combination with yellow sea buckthorn oil creates a pleasant yellow-green color of the balm.
Sea buckthorn oil soothes the skin. It naturally contains vitamin E and beta-carotene.
Mimosa - acacia wax (Mimosa) contains free phytosterols and aliphatic monoesters (C38 to C48). These create a fine moisturizing film on the skin.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is important for maintaining healthy skin.
