NEOBOTANICS® was established based on long-term scientific research of natural bioactive substances under the leadership of Associate Professor Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D., in cooperation with prominent Czech scientific institutions and leading experts in the field of medicine.

BIOCEN laboratories
Research, development and production take place under strictly controlled conditions in the laboratories of our company BIOCEN laboratories and our laboratories in the Science and Technology Park Center for Applied Research Dobříš (CAVD), set in the unique environment of the Brdy forests.

The founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, Doc. Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D., is a Czech scientist and biotechnologist specializing in the entire chain of research, development, and utilization of natural bioactive substances.
Within the research projects he leads, new active ingredients for cosmetic use and new approaches to their formulation are created.
He holds many patents and awards, including the Visionary 2016 title.

Combining modern science, research, and nature
We believe that the future of quality cosmetics and dietary supplements relies not only on the latest scientific knowledge but also on a sensitive connection to natural traditions.
Therefore, we return to our roots and rediscover the potential of traditional and lesser-known local herbs, plants, and other natural resources for use in dermatology, cosmetics, and nutrition.
These resources are explored through research projects led by the founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, biotechnologist and expert in natural active substances, doc. Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D. We extract valuable functional ingredients from them and verify their biological activity using modern analytical methods.
Bioactive, thoughtfully formulated ingredients
In many of our dietary supplements and cosmetic products, we use our own original and carefully prepared extracts.
Where appropriate for formulation, we work with bioactive substances in the form of liposomal or nano-micellar systems, prepared using our own NEOLIPO® and NEOMICELLE® processes.
These approaches allow us to design products with an emphasis on stability, quality, and a thoughtful use of active ingredients within the overall formulation.
Extreme origin, exceptional potential
In the development of dermo-cosmetic products, we also work with bioactive substances obtained from plants or microorganisms that naturally occur in extreme conditions.
It is precisely in such environments that these organisms create specific protective mechanisms and a natural spectrum of substances that help them cope with environmental stressors.

Neobotanics Cannazulene CBD skin soothing balm 30 ml
Balsam ointment with cannabidiol, hemp oil, vitamin E, active substances isolated from chamomile: blue guaiazulene, bisabolol and essential oil from blue chamomile is suitable for treating skin with minor burns and scars. It helps to soothe dry and irritated skin and supports its regeneration without the formation of significant scars.
Balsam ointment is free of preservatives and perfumes, it is also intended for very dry skin and is also suitable for vegans. The blue color of the preparation is due to the high content of a bioactive substance isolated from blue chamomile - guiazulene. The product's chamomile scent is due to the content of blue chamomile essential oil.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE:
Cannabidiol (CBD), isolated from the cannabis plant, has anti-free radical effects that arise in the skin as a result of UV radiation.
Blue chamomile contains essential oils consisting of terpenes such as azulene and bisabolol, sesquiterpenes, flavonoids, and other substances. Thanks to these substances, the herb has skin-care properties.
Guaiazulene, a natural substance isolated from blue chamomile, has a naturally dark blue color, which gives the entire product its color.
Bisabolol, obtained from the candeia tree, is a natural active ingredient used for problematic and irritated skin thanks to its soothing and skin-care effects.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is important for maintaining healthy skin.
NEOBOTANICS CBD balms and ointments contain not only hemp seed oil but also a standardized content of cannabidiol (CBD), which is obtained from industrial hemp using advanced extraction and separation methods. The use of CBD in cosmetic products is legal (unlike the use of THC).
