BIOCEN laboratories
Research, development and production take place under strictly controlled conditions in the laboratories of our company BIOCEN laboratories and our laboratories in the Science and Technology Park Dobříš Centre for Applied Research (CAVD), set in the unique environment of the Brdy forests.
It is here that scientific precision, technological advancement and inspiration from nature, which is fundamental to the philosophy of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, are intertwined.

The founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand is a Czech scientist and biotechnologist specializing in the entire chain of research, development and utilization of natural bioactive substances.
Within the research projects he leads, new active ingredients for cosmetic use and new approaches to their formulation are developed.
He is the holder of a number of patents and awards, including the Visionary 2016 title.

Combining modern science, research, and nature
We believe that the future of quality cosmetics and dietary supplements relies not only on the latest scientific knowledge but also on a sensitive connection to natural traditions.
Therefore, we return to our roots and rediscover the potential of traditional and lesser-known local herbs, plants, and other natural resources for use in dermatology, cosmetics, and nutrition.
These resources are explored through research projects led by the founder of the NEOBOTANICS® brand, biotechnologist and expert in natural active substances, doc. Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D. We extract valuable functional ingredients from them and verify their biological activity using modern analytical methods.
Bioactive, thoughtfully formulated ingredients
In many of our dietary supplements and cosmetic products, we use our own original and carefully prepared extracts.
Where appropriate for formulation, we work with bioactive substances in the form of liposomal or nano-micellar systems, prepared using our own NEOLIPO® and NEOMICELLE® processes.
These approaches allow us to design products with an emphasis on stability, quality, and a thoughtful use of active ingredients within the overall formulation.
Extreme origin, exceptional potential
In the development of dermo-cosmetic products, we also work with bioactive substances obtained from plants or microorganisms that naturally occur in extreme conditions.
