How to care for skin with EDEMA?
Comprehensive, long-term care usually yields the best results.
1) INTERNAL CARE – based on dietary supplements rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, as well as collagen peptides.
- Flavo-Lymf (dietary supplement), an ethanol-free herbal tincture (glycerite) containing extracts from 14 traditional Czech herbs rich in flavonoids. The product is based on botanical ingredients traditionally associated with “lymphatic” function and elimination (e.g., plantain – normal lymphatic system function; nettle/thistle/meadowsweet/yarrow/burdock – elimination; dandelion flower – detoxification; bedstraw – liver and bile ducts; bilberry – circulatory system). The tincture is suitable as a long-term supplement for overall care, especially if you want to incorporate flavonoid-rich herbal extracts into your regimen.
- Beauty Marine Collagen + 22 Essences collagen drink with liposomal vitamin C 267 g – dietary supplement based on patented NATICOL® marine collagen peptides.
Liposomal Vitamin C Plus 60 capsules (dietary supplement), a combination of vitamin C, zinc, and selenium in the liposomal form of vitamin C (NeoLipo™ C).
2) EXTERNAL CARE - is key to the cosmetic effect on the skin’s appearance – especially thanks to regular massage with gels rich in flavonoids in liposomal form. You can use the gels/serums separately or combine them as needed (alternate or layer them with a break in between).
Anti-Edema Gel – an emulsion gel designed for a refreshing skin massage, with a quickly absorbed texture. It contains CBD in a standardized nanomicellar form and the LEGACTIF™ complex (plant extracts including goldenrod, lemon, and horsetail), as well as a blend of essential oils for an immediate feeling of freshness and comfort.
Recommended routine: especially in the morning—for greater comfort throughout the day; for more intensive care, it can also be applied in the evening.
Anti-Edema Roll-On Serum - “SOS” spot treatment in roll-on form for quick, contact-free application anytime during the day when you want to treat your skin to a cooling and soothing sensation (convenient for travel).
Flavoderm 100 ml – a regenerative cream with flavonoids and CBD, particularly suitable for dry, flaky, or itchy skin, and typically also for irritation associated with wearing compression garments. If you are simultaneously using other gels from the NEOBOTANICS line in the morning/evening, we recommend applying the gel first, followed by the Flavoderm cream once it has absorbed. It is also ideal to apply the cream after removing compression stockings, when the skin is most stressed.
Application and Combination:
Apply gels/serums ideally in the morning, or both morning and evening for a more intensive regimen. If combining two products, it is often practical to apply Anti-Edema Gel in the morning (for daytime comfort) and choose the second product in the evening based on preference; alternatively, use the roll-on anytime during the day as needed.
Is CBD ANTI-EDEMA GEL also suitable for swelling after leg surgery?
CBD ANTI-EDEMA GELis a cosmetic product intended for skin care and massage of skin prone to swelling and for a feeling of comfort for tired legs.
We recommend using the gel after surgery, but only if the skin at the application site is fully healed and the application is in accordance with the post-surgery regimen determined by the doctor (especially if you have compression, a specific rehabilitation procedure, etc.).
Safety recommendations after surgery:
- Do not apply to injured, open or otherwise disturbed skin (e.g. fresh scars, wounds, scabs, areas with stitches).
- Avoid application in the immediate vicinity of the surgical wound until the skin is fully healed and free of sensitive areas.
- Start slowly: in the first few days after inclusion, apply a small amount to a smaller area and monitor tolerance.
- If in doubt, follow the advice of your treating physician (especially in case of complicated healing, infection, hematomas, use of anticoagulants, etc.).
Using the gel in practice:
- Apply tosurrounding healed areasand massage gently.
- It is practically proven in the morning (comfort during the day) and, if necessary, in the evening.
- If you are using compression aids at the same time, apply the gel so that it is fully absorbed before putting on the compression.
Which products should I use for facial swelling and under-eye bags?
We do not recommend using the gel on facial skin. This gel is intended for the body, and its composition may be unnecessarily irritating for more sensitive facial skin (and especially the eye area). For your face, choose products that are formulated and tested for facial skin.
Puffy under-eye bags are sometimes also associated with swelling. Regarding facial swelling and under-eye bags – dietary supplements have a good effect on the condition of the subcutaneous tissue and skin elasticity.
- Flavo-lymf for lymphatic system and vascular support, a purely herbal concentrated tincture, is excellent for swelling in the limbs and cellulite.
- Beauty Marine Collagen + 22 Essences collagen drink with liposomal vitamin C 267 g for skin elasticity, joint and bone, hair and nail nourishment. A premium product containing collagen peptides from marine fish NATICOL®, NeoLipo® C - liposomal vitamin C, MSM, hyaluronic acid, 6 plant extracts, 8 B vitamins, zinc, manganese, soluble inulin fiber, and lyophilized fruit juices.
