Czech scientists have come up with a new method to limit the development of cellulite
Did you know that cellulite can be the cause of chronic inflammation in the body? Scientists are now coming up with a new finding that the main cause of our difficulties with the development of cellulite is a disorder of the so-called microcirculation of body fluids (blood, tissue fluids, lymph) in the subcutaneous fat tissue. Thanks to this, there is a gradual development of a metabolic disorder and the so-called "creeping" development of inflammation, which gradually reshapes the structure of the subcutaneous tissue and gives the skin its characteristic orange peel shape. Therefore, our scientists focused mainly on supporting microcirculation, reducing the pro-inflammatory reaction and overall improving the metabolism of the subcutaneous tissue and skin.
Hundreds of articles have already been written about cellulite, but it's still there and bothering women. For some women, it ceases to be a cosmetic problem, but becomes a health and often painful one.
There is no simple and quick solution to the problem of cellulite, a comprehensive approach to both prevention and treatment from the hands of a trained specialist is appropriate, including, among other things, manual or instrumental lymphatic drainage, compression garments, modification of physical activity and adherence to the principles of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, no quick “miracle” pill or salve works for cellulite. Part of a complex therapeutic approach are natural remedies, most often of the nature of phytotherapy, both local and general. Local preparations alone in the form of various anti-cellulite creams and gels based on fat burners do not work very well, because they do not target the essence of the problem, which is microcirculation disorder and inflammation.
Revolutionary discovery by Czech scientists - cannabiol can help
The scientific team led by Doc. Ing. Petra Kaštánek, PhD. dealt with research on the effects of bioactive substances from microalgae and the anti-inflammatory effects of cannabis and its main active substances - cannabinoids (CBD). In cooperation with the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, research into the isolation and analysis of cannabinoids and the determination of their biological activities has been ongoing for 6 years. The research team found that selected cannabinoids from cannabis reduce, in addition to other effects, the production of so-called pro-inflammatory cytokines, i.e. substances responsible for local inflammation in the body.
"Cannabidiol (CBD) is a highly effective substance from hemp, obtained by advanced extraction and separation methods from technical hemp based on research carried out by our company. It does not have psychoactive effects, but it has excellent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. Its use in cosmetics is (unlike the use of THC) legal," explains Petr Kaštánek, director of EcoFuel Laboratories and BIOCEN Laboratories .
The company Prevence 2000 and the lymph center, led by MUDr. René Vlasák, which, in addition to lymphatic swelling and chronic venous insufficiency, specializes in the issue of lipedema and so-called gynoid - female obesity. "Our key hypothesis, leading to the development of innovative support means for the treatment of skin with swelling, varicose veins and cellulite, was that a number of problems associated with degenerative changes in the subcutaneous collagen tissue in these diseases have a basis in the disruption of microcirculation with impaired lymphatic drainage in the intercellular space in the subcutaneous tissue , diverting the substances of cellular metabolism from the cells, which leads to microedema and the induction of the formation of pro-inflammatory factors and subsequently to the occurrence of local inflammations, resulting in the disruption of fibrous tissue. With new preparations, it is thus possible to target the very cause of the emergence of these problems. ", describes MUDr. Vlasak .
Based on this, doc. Kaštánek has developed a range of supportive cosmetic products combining extracts from medicinal herbs rich in anti-inflammatory flavonoids and CBD (cannabidiol) – an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory cannabinoid from hemp. In the case of the gel for the treatment of skin with cellulite, the product also includes spirulina microalgae extract and genistein, a biologically active form of isoflavone from soybeans that modulates phytoestrogen activity. These substances are supplemented with caffeine and carnitine, targeting lipolysis, i.e. the breakdown of subcutaneous fat, and essential oils from ginger, cypress and lemon. Thanks to this complex innovative composition, the product targets not only the support of the breakdown of fat cells and the strengthening of fibrous tissues, but especially the cause of the problem itself.
Neobotanics presents CBD ANTI-CELLULITE & SLIMMING BODY GEL
The special anti-culitis gel is a product that is composed of four original, synergistically potentiating components.
- Anti-inflammatory cannabidiol (CBD) in highly effective non-micellar nano-form. This technology, developed as part of a research project by EcoFuel Laboratories, allows for significantly more efficient dosing of CBD, as the absorption of the active ingredient takes place much faster and more efficiently.
- NEOACTINE™ CelluSlim is our own original blend of flavonoids and other bioactive substances from extracts of ivy, mate, gingko biloba and navel.
- ISO-SLIM COMPLEX™ is a patented, clinically proven substance that, thanks to its caffeine, carnitine, genistein and spirulina microalgae extract, helps to visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite, activate reduction and increase the elasticity and firmness of the skin.
- Adjuvant blend of cypress, lemon, mint, lavender and ginger essential oils .
The active substances contained in the gel reduce the circumference of the thighs, support blood circulation and stimulate cell metabolism. The gel has a very fast onset of action, a non-greasy and very well absorbable texture.
